This Privacy Policy explains how Facilitya ("we", "us", "our") collects, uses, shares, and protects information when you visit https://facilitya.com (the "Site") or purchase our print-on-demand products. By using the Site, you agree to the practices described below.
1. Who We Are
Facilitya is a print-on-demand (POD) e-commerce store specializing in custom T-shirts, hoodies, hats, mugs, and baseball jerseys for families, gifts, and special occasions.
- Business address: 1339 Irving Road, Columbus, OH 43215, United States
- Contact email: [email protected]
- Website: https://facilitya.com
2. Information We Collect
(a) Information you provide directly. When you place an order, register an account, contact support, sign up for marketing, or submit a review, we collect: full name, email address, postal/shipping address, billing address, phone number (optional), order details, design preferences, and any communications you send us.
(b) Payment information. We do not store full credit card or debit card numbers on our servers. Payments are processed by PCI-DSS compliant third parties — PayPal and Stripe — who receive your card data directly. We only receive a transaction confirmation and the last four digits.
(c) Information collected automatically. When you browse the Site, we automatically collect: IP address, browser type, operating system, device identifiers, pages visited, referring URL, time on page, and similar log data. We use cookies and similar technologies (see Section 7).
(d) Information from third parties. If you log in via Facebook or another social platform, we receive the profile information you authorize that platform to share (typically name, email, profile picture).
3. How We Use Your Information
- To process and fulfill your orders (including sharing shipping data with print and shipping partners).
- To communicate about your order, account, refunds, or support requests.
- To send marketing emails about new designs, promotions, and abandoned cart reminders (you can unsubscribe at any time).
- To prevent fraud, abuse, and chargebacks (anti-fraud screening on checkout).
- To analyze traffic and improve the Site, products, and user experience.
- To comply with legal obligations (tax, accounting, dispute resolution).
4. Legal Bases (GDPR — EU/UK visitors)
If you are located in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom, or Switzerland, we process your personal data under one of these legal bases: (i) contract — to fulfill your order; (ii) consent — for marketing emails and non-essential cookies; (iii) legitimate interest — for fraud prevention, analytics, and operating the business; (iv) legal obligation — for tax records.
5. Who We Share Information With
We share the minimum necessary data with the following categories of service providers, all under written confidentiality and data-processing agreements:
- Print and fulfillment partners (to produce and ship your custom items).
- Payment processors — PayPal, Stripe — for secure payment handling.
- Shipping carriers — USPS, UPS, FedEx, DHL, and similar — for delivery.
- Email and SMS service providers for transactional and marketing messages.
- Analytics providers — Google Analytics, Meta Pixel — for traffic measurement (you may opt out via cookie banner or browser settings).
- Hosting, CDN, and security providers — Cloudflare and our hosting provider.
- Legal and regulatory authorities when required by law, subpoena, or court order.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties for monetary value. We do not share data with data brokers.
6. International Transfers
Facilitya is based in the United States. If you access the Site from outside the U.S., your information will be transferred to and processed in the U.S. For transfers from the EEA/UK, we rely on Standard Contractual Clauses (SCCs) approved by the European Commission.
7. Cookies and Tracking
We use four categories of cookies: (1) strictly necessary (cart, checkout, login session) — always on; (2) functional (language, preferences); (3) analytics (Google Analytics); (4) marketing (Facebook Pixel, Google Ads remarketing). You can manage cookie preferences through our cookie banner or your browser settings. Disabling strictly necessary cookies will break checkout.
8. Data Retention
- Order, billing, and shipping records: retained for 7 years for tax and accounting purposes.
- Account data: retained while your account is active; deleted within 90 days of account closure (unless retention is required by law).
- Marketing data: retained until you unsubscribe; basic suppression record kept indefinitely to honor your opt-out.
- Support tickets: 24 months from last interaction.
- Analytics logs: 14 months.
9. Your Rights
Depending on your jurisdiction, you have the right to: (i) access the personal data we hold about you, (ii) correct inaccurate data, (iii) request deletion ("right to be forgotten"), (iv) restrict or object to processing, (v) data portability, (vi) withdraw consent at any time, (vii) lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority.
California residents (CCPA/CPRA): You have the right to know what categories of personal information we collect, request deletion, opt out of "sale" or "sharing" of personal data (we do not sell data, but cookie-based advertising may qualify as "sharing" under CPRA — use the cookie banner to opt out), and to be free from discrimination for exercising these rights.
To exercise any right, email [email protected] with the subject line "Privacy Request". We will respond within 30 days (45 days for CCPA requests, extendable by another 45 days with notice).
10. Children Privacy (COPPA)
The Site is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child has provided us personal data, contact us at [email protected] and we will delete the data promptly.
11. Data Security
We use industry-standard safeguards including TLS/HTTPS encryption, hashed passwords, role-based access control, firewall and rate-limiting, and routine security updates. No method of transmission over the internet is 100% secure; we cannot guarantee absolute security, but we work to protect your information.
12. Third-Party Links
The Site may contain links to third-party websites. We are not responsible for the privacy practices of these sites. We encourage you to read their privacy policies before sharing any information.
13. Changes to This Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the most recent revision. Material changes will be announced on the homepage or by email. Continued use of the Site after changes means you accept the updated policy.
